Why I Love to Run, and a Free Recipe.

8) Because it makes my day go better
7) Because it gives me time to read
6) Because it gives be time to ponder and receive answers
5) Because it helps me to prepare for my day. I get up and get the older 3, sometimes 4 off to school, I put 5 of 5 down for a nap, then I run shower and get ready for the day
4) Because it helps me loose weight, and inches
3) Because it makes it so I can have a race with 2 of 5, and win.
2) Because I want to run a 10k with Ashby someday
1) Because i feel like I set a goal, and i am enjoying my journey to reach it. All of these thing make this habit a healthy, productive uplifting part of my life. Thanks Call for the encouragement and being the example and goal.

Now, for my recipe. I am posting a cream soup recipe, mostly for my friend 29 babies.
Since I got this from my MIL I have not bought or used a canned cream soup. And it's a good use of my powdered dry milk.

2 cups nonfat powder milk
3/4 cup corn starch
1/4 cup instant beef/ chicken bullion
2 TBS dried onion flakes
1 tps basil and thyme leaves
1/2 tsp pepper.
I put all of these things into a Ziploc bag and shake to mix. Then store the same way. When you need a coup mix you combine
1/3 cup of this mix
1 1/4 cup cold water in a sauce pan. Cook and stir until thickened. Substitute for 1 can of soup.

The soup sounds really good. We use cream soup all the time so I'm going to try this for sure!
