Update

Yup, just another update. I had a dr. appt at 29 weeks this morning. Everything looked good. He wanted to start talking C-section because babies were both still breech at my ultrasound 2 weeks ago. Is it okay to pray that the babies go head down. The thought of a CS at this point terrifies me.
I am measuring 36 weeks, which is why I feel, and look like I am ready to have a baby any day. I have also gained 30 lbs. WHich, is where I usually am at 38 weeks. Even with a diet with no fast food, or boxed meals, and small portions, I still seem to be packing on the lbs, like I am getting ready to hibernate. A year ago at this time, I was getting ready to run a half marathon.
My blood sugar has been really good, my iron is good, and I am not showing any signs of preterm labor. My body seems to be made to carry 2.
Here's to another 8-9 weeks of uneventful pregnancy.

Once Again

I had another growth scan. This happens every4 weeks, to make sure both babies are growing at the same rate. This time they both measured 26 weeks 6 days. Unfortunately, I have babies heads under my right rib. They feel bruised at the end of the day, I guess that would explain why. I guess all I can do now, is pray baby A, our boy, moves into a head down position before 32 weeks. Otherwise we start planning a c-Section. I really hope that is not the route we have to go. I cannot imagine having to recover from surgery, care for twins and 6 other kids. I thought it was funny, the position of baby B, doesn't matter. Baby A will dictate delivery method. My dr told me, if baby A comes out head down, they can just pull the second one out feet first, is necessary.
I have one more growth scan in 4 weeks, then weekly NST and scans after that. I have my next dr appt on the 23rd, then every other week after that. Life is about to get a whole lot busier.

Irritation

Do you ever have one of those days, where you just wake up irritated?
I did this morning.
1. First netflix wasn't working. 5 of 6 always watches Rugrats in the morning while I clean up after the 'get the kids out the door' rush. So, she spent the morning following me around asking me for things. I want a snack, 8:30 in the morning. I want to play Play Doh. Okay, but not until the table is clean, which I can't clean while you are following me around.
2. I made the kids pumpkin bread (thank you Jen, it was a huge hit) so now I have crumbs all over the floor. And because we don't wear shoes in the house, I have to get to that immediately. Nothing more irritating than stepping bare foot on crumbs.
3. today is laundry day. In doing said laundry, I noticed one of my daughters didn;t have any clothes in there. And since I know she wore clothes last week, I know she has laundry. So I went to her room, and found all of last weeks clothes wadded in her drawer, and under her bed, and on her closet floor. No, this isn;t a new thing. We do this every week. I toss her room, pull out old clothes, and she get to fix it. But for some reason, it was more irritating today.
4. Snow. I wanted to finish my fence today. Irritating.
5. Trent ran out of shirts, so I spent a chunk of this morning, ironing more. irritating.
6. I posted those rugs on KSL last week, and the 1 person that called to come look at them, never showed up. We stayed home last night, so you could come look at them.
Normally, these things are just part of my day. But for some reason, everything is irritating.
me. These babies are not moving around very much, so I have to lay down and count kicks, is irritating me. Oh well, better luck tomorrow right? Can we just go back to bed, and start over?

March

I was freaking out because i couldn't find a March 2011 picture file. Then i remembered. It's only the 2nd. So you get one from 2009.
I had a dr. appt today. My last of my monthly appt. I have one in 3 weeks, then 2 , 2 weeks appts. Then weekly. I was told I will not make it to 40 weeks. If things are thinned, effacing and dilating at 38 weeks, AND I haven't had my babies by then, he will start me. Now we just pray for head down babies. My last 2 babies, I was at a 3-4 at 37 weeks, I have no doubt that will be the case. It's a little scary. Time goes by so fast. may 23rd is 38 weeks. the 15th of May would be okay too, because it's my GMA's birthday, and it's my sisters.
6 of 6 wants to sit on the potty. all. the. time. I don't have the energy. Although the thought of only 2 in diapers is extremely appealing. The thought of potty training an 18 month old. Not so much.
Can I talk about Trent for a minute. He is awesome. He bought me an under mounted microwave, and this quick installation turned out to be a major kitchen rewire. He is also, dare I say, excited about these babies. We have had 6 kids, and he loves them, but he has never been excited about it before. He's just not that kind of guy. I heard him tell the neighbor he was excited, and the whole thing was exciting. I have been to 10 work Christmas parties with him, 5 of those I have been pregnant. When they go around and have the employee introduce themselves then their spouse, then tell them something about us, never once has he mentioned expecting a baby. Until this last year. It's nice to hear.
I go in for another growth ultrasound next week. My dr said if there is any shortening of the cervix, I will be on modified bedrest. Whatever that means. Luckily I only have 2 kids at home. 4 of 6 won't get out of school until mid May, and my others are in until July. Except for the spring break, and one more track break, we are nearing the end. Hopefully bedrest won't be in the picture. I have never had a problem before.
Speaking of 4 of 6, at her IEP we found out her IQ is 75. Normal is 85-115. And in some areas she scored higher than 85. But her communication skills were really low, so she averaged out at 75. We are quite pleased with that. She will also be placed in a cluster classroom next year. She will be in with other 1-2 graders, with learning disabilities. Which is right where we wanted her. At least through elementary. If we can get her reading and writing, we'll talk about mainstream, when she plateaus. Maybe high school. But you can't really look that far ahead in life. Things change from day to day.
So, we are just hanging out. 3 of 5 is getting baptized on Saturday. My dad is going to help me fix the fence that was damaged in November, so the kids can go out side and play again. Now that it is getting warm, they are getting antsy. I just need to get the house cleaned, so we can let people in. It's been awhile since we had company. I haven't really felt up to it. Even the yearly game night hasn't happened this year. Maybe this month.
