A hot pack date that is. This is what i will be spending my evening doing tonight, while husband is at a YM meeting. I have only bottled 1 batch this year, well, of tomatoes, i did 3 of apricots. But we are making our first of 2 farmers market runs tomorrow, to get Johnathan apples. (the best for apple sauce).
And, in celebration of my 1st 10 lbs, i bought these. 4 of 5 got to wear them first. (I'm such a nice mom) 8$.I think i will splurge on the 20$ pair that i wanted, when i hit the 20 lb mark.
I am such not a shoe person. But husband was getting mad because i kept wearing my flip flops to church. But i didn't have any summer dress shoes that i could carry a baby in. So, flip flops it was.
We also discovered that our carrots were ready. It really does feel like we were just planting. husband promised he wouldn't let the garden get so over run with weeds next year. We plant, he nurtures, i bottle.
Tis the season.... to buy all of your perennials. I have discovered that if you buy your flowers at the end of the season, they are 50- 80 % off. And they come up with next years flowers.

Great job on the garden! So not my forte.
Apples are ready now? I'm just now doing peaches and I didn't know they overlapped.
I think I have those shoes too!Eva wears them much better though.
