Last Day

Today my kids go off track. Which means, 1, they can sleep in. CAN if the operative word. Will they? Sources say no. Well 1 of 5 will until I make her get out of bed. But I think she does this because her job is to get her sister out of bed, and she really really dislikes this job. And if she waits long enough, I come down and get her up to go potty. Which is pretty typical of any job she has. And by long enough, I mean 7 am. Once upon a time, EVERYONE was up at 6:30, except me. Now 5 of the 7 of us are up and going by 6:30. 6 on a bad day. 2 my house will inevitable be Tornado Alley for about 3 weeks. When they are in school, I at least get 9-3 in a semi straightened house. 3, moe can have some buddies to entertain him. 4, we can go do some fun stuff during the day. The library might be on that list if they can find the missing movie. (We bought Indiana Jones last night, and they can watch that when they find said movie) 5, Maybe if they stay up a little later, they will sleep in.... egh, not going to chance that one. 5 of 5 will still be up at 6:30.
And for DS tidbit. I guess this could be part of my grateful moment too.I love the friendship of the DS community. I love that i can meet anyone that has a child with DS, or other relative with DS, and have an instant connection, and something in common. I am grateful for the friends I have met, through this group.

I always get my hopes up for those sleep in days, but they usually don't happen. It seems they always wake up at the same time no matter what!! ARgh! (:
