I wish I could post this calender, (but I'm not technically savvy) I just read the D track calender schedule for spring break, and it's not good news. We are now in the 3rd and final week of track break, and so ready to go back to school. It hasn't been bad, it just starts getting long after a few weeks. They go back on the 9th, for 8 weeks, only to go back off track for 4 weeks..... 4 WEEKS?!?! Isn't that a bit excessive? 3 weeks is pushing it, 4 weeks, is just unnecessary. If I felt better, and it was warmer, I could handle this better, and by their break in April, I will, and we can go out and work in the yard. This time around we've been dealing with crummy air quality, cold, and not even a good snow storm to entertain.
Now on to dilemma #2. Daughter #1. She got new shoe laces because she refused to tie her old ones they got walked on, and ruined. So, she asked her little brother if he could put them in. She does this a lot, she flatters him a bit, and he does things for her. But this time he couldn't. And really I wanted her to do it herself. But, this is what she does. she puts them through the first hole, then decides she can't. I giver a few hints and recommend she looks at another set of shoes, as an example. Now she just won't. She's smart, she can figure things out, she just won't. Her preferred method, pout and stare at the object until someone else comes and does it for her. We did this with tights before church a few weeks ago. She just could not get them on her legs. Her dad finally got so frustrated with her that he yelled at her. (this man doesn't yell, so if it happens, you know he's not happy) 2 seconds later, she had them on her legs ready to walk out of the door. She is now down stairs pouting because i am not doing it for her, and her brother didn't. How do you get them to try. Try more than once, then try again.
OH, never mind, she is back, and her shoe laces are in ( I may help her tighten them) It is done and done right! Wow, I am impressed. Now, If we can just learn a lesson from it, for next time!
Last, I'm kind of surprised I didn't get any comments from my post on gender prediction and hair lines. Maybe you all just ignore my free recipes..... It's at the end of my last post. Give it a read, and let me know what you think.
