Free recipe Friday 4

For this weeks recipe, i have the YUMMIEST cheese cake ever. You know what makes it even better.... it's easy. I am not a big fan of the no bake cheesecakes. It seems like they never are as dense as the kind you bake. And i think the thicker, the better. Also, i don't like the graham cracker crust when it's cooked. It becomes too crumbly, and some how, it always ends up over baked. (I'm pretty picky about my cheesecake, can you tell?) This one will not disappoint. It doesn't even need cherries or strawberries. Although, they are good, too.

OK, finely crush 12 graham crackers, then mix with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup butter. Press into a spring form pan and set in fridge while you make the rest.

combine 2- 8oz packages of cream cheese, 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat well and pour over crust and bake for 20 min at 350. The recipe says 20 minutes, but i have found it's not solid until about 40. So after 20, just keep your eye on it until the center is not wiggly. Let cool for 1 hr.

While that is baking, combine 1 pint sour cream, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour over the top of cooled cheese cake and bake at 450 for 10 minutes. This i have also found takes about twice as long. When it's done, put it in the fridge and let it set over night.

This is sooo good, and it's easy. ENJOY!

I found this in the Mormon Cookbook. Every recipe i have tried out of it i have really liked. It's where i got the ramen noodle salad I made for Rainbows baby shower 2 years ago.
