POTTY TIME

I have been planning on starting the potty training after 4 of 5's cast came off, 2 weeks ago. Well, i wanted to do it before she broke her arm. But i just couldn't bring myself to do it. I think she was tired of talking about it because on Saturday she brought me her potty chair, and tried to take her clothes off. I told her come on let's wait until Monday, then changed my mind. took the clothes off, she sat, and #2..... So, i guess we are officially in training. I forgot what a full time job this is. Especially with a new baby, and stuff to do, places to go, camp to prepare, people to see. But much to my surprise, she is actually doing it! yesterday i could tell she needed to go, so we left Sacrament meeting 10 times to sit on the potty. finally i just took her home because she wouldn't go on the big potties. She sat right down and peed. Then i told her it was time to go back to church and she told me "no" and pointed to the potty again. So i sat her back down, and she pooped. So i am just ecstatic. I don't want to get too excited, we have a LONG way to go still, but we're making good first baby steps. She can't quite say potty, but you know when she's gotta go. So! here we go!

That is 4 of 5 a few hrs old. I can't believe she is almost 3.
