Like, Don't Like. And Poking Fun at the Kids

So, I'm a big fan of puzzles. Like the way avid readers love to read, (although I do love a good book) I love to put together puzzles. I have taken to picking them up at DI. The hazard to this.... Spending 2 weeks putting it together, only to realize, it's missing a piece. (notice the cup down in the bottom left corner) Come on people, if it's missing pieces, just throw it away, don't donate it.... Of course my kids could have lost it, but they're pretty good about not touching unless they are helping. So what is wrong with this picture? I sent 3 of 6 in to tuck in his shirt and ask his dad for a tie. This is what he came back with..... Oh man, I didn't notice how messy my room was until I say this. Gimme a break, it's Sunday.

Like this..... Of course, her hair was pulled out 30 minutes later. It's amazing how quickly your "baby" grows up, when you have another one. Everyone has noticed how grown up she looked.

And last, don't like. I have been stepping on goats heads all weekend. They are all over my carpet. I guess it's that time of year. We're going to go out and get the yard taken down, tonight. We'll round up our poor excuse for this years garden, and reseed the lawn that grubs ate. I don't think we'll do more than a few plants next year, in an attempt to get on top of the weeds out there. Here's to more success next year.

I'm sure I am guilty of donating puzzles with pieces missing. When we are gathering all of our stuff for the DI I just don't have the time to put together the puzzles or play games to make sure all the pieces are there. Sorry!

BTW -- Your room looks great for Sunday and a new baby!

You are better than I. Our room is always a mess and we have a poor excuse for a garden...it's called not having one.
