UDSF

I took 4 of 5 to the UDSF carnival that the Huntington Beach North Stake put on for the UDSF as part of their EFY trip. I think they have done this for our group for a few years now, but 4 of 5 wasn't old enough to go until this year. I only took 2, 5 and 4 of 5 with me, but after i got there i kicked myself for not bringing all of them. Well, 1 of 5 and dad had a baptism to go to, but 3 of 5 could have come. 4 of 5 wasn't very excited, she wanted to stay with me, but an hr into it, one of the youth leaders came and took her from me and played with her, then handed her off to one of the Laurels. The first one she was pair up with was pretty shy about the whole thing. Which, come to find out she was 14. I was the same way at that age.
My favorite part of the activity was getting to meet one of my blogger buddies http://www.sealbark.blogspot.com/ It's funny because i recognised her son from the picture on her blog. Then recognised her coming up to me because she recognised 4 of 5. She is great, mom of 6, primary presidency, her daughter with DS is 5 and her youngest is only 2-3 weeks older than 5 of 5. (we should seriously get our families together for a FHE) I also got to talk to one of the YW leaders. I felt the spirit as she told me what this activity meant to her and the youth of the Stake. I love to be in places where our kids touch people lives. I love when people can feel love for our kids, and want to be with them. It makes me happy. They make me happy. 4 of 5 makes my happy. All of my kids make me happy. They make me who i am.

I tried the pancakes, totally loved them. But do you double it for your family? It only seemed to make about 8 pancakes, and they went pretty fast. Just wondering if I made them right.

It was great seeing you at the carnival. We'll have to get our families together sometime. That would be fun! Your daughter is a doll!
