So i started running 2 weeks ago. I went from struggling to get through .5 of a mile, to running 1.3 miles. I am on the treadmill for 13 minutes. I think i will start adding a minute every 3-4 days because what i am doing now, has become easy. I am on this low carb, lower sugar diet, and have taken off 3 lbs so far. Great, right? Well not exactly. I have now started loosing my milk. And since i am not going to give up nursing to get skinny again, i need to start adding more calories into my diet. I am a huge advocate of nursing. It takes me a long painful time to get started, and i am not going to give it up anytime soon. Even if i don't take off another lb until i do. So, does anyone have any suggestion to this problem? How do i keep loosing, with out loosing my milk supply.

What does this mean? I am clueless, sorry.
I just have to make sure I am still getting LOTS of liquids and nt letting myself get dehydrated and then I am able to limit calories and not have a problem with milk supply.
I'm pretty sure supply has more to do with hydration than calories. In fact, I lose most of my baby weight while nursing and changing nothing about my eating.
Now after nursing...that's a whole different story! :)
I think I can help with this one....I had this proble when i started doing arobics, so after looking into it...exercize can deminish your milk supply, I found out (Would have been good to know ahead of ime, but hey!!) anyway, Whole Foods has a nautral suppliment calle Fenugreek, it helps keep your milk spply up when you need it. I took it as soon as I foun dout about it and started having problems and Walla!! no problems, so I know it works...and asked the Dr. about it, fine to take too!! Anyway, if I remember I will bring you some tomorrow so you can try it before you buy some!!
