Not Fot The Faint of Heart

We like to try new things at our house. How else would we have ever discovered steamed soy beans. Yum. We eat Brussels sprouts, beets, collard greens, and even tofu. So we were having left over night last night which consisted of fish, calamari, salad, and potatoes. The kids wanted to see what the inside of calamari looked like, I though "knowing" that they were eating squid would turn them off. That's why they bread and fry the stuff. But, no, it just encouraged them. "I'm eating Squidward"!
1 of 6 ate it "it tastes like chicken"
- um yeah, rubber chicken. I wonder if she would even like good calamari.
4 of 6 ate it.
And 2 of 6 played with it. (the first picture started out down here.... I don't know what happened.) Then ate it, then insisted I let him take it to school in a bag. Alright.

That's awesome! We eat a lot of different stuff here too (sometimes we have success, sometimes not so much). My kids love tofu, but they think it's chicken. We also do spinach and fruit smoothies, but we call them Shrek smoothies. It's all about how you "spin" it. :-)
