I wasnt sure how to write next to the pictures, so the pictures are below. DH took Wed. off to take the kids rock hunting. My kids LOVE to find cool rocks, there pockets are full of them just from the walk home from school. they totally get that from their dad (or me, but i don't tell DH that) So we took off about 8:30 deciding to take the back way there. there ended up being a lot of roads out there that weren't on the map, so we ended up at a locked Dugway fence a lot. I got a little nervous a few time driving around in the middle of nowhere with no "bars" on the phone. Mostly i was worried about getting back for YW that night, becasue i was in charge of the activity. But, as you can see, all was well, 5 of 5 even behaved. This is the one that hates the car seat. Although, she has been doing much better these past few weeks, not quite such a grump.
The kids all found some cool geods (SP) and tilobites (i had no idea what these things were until 2 days ago) We love to drive around, just get in the car and go. It usually takes us 12 or more hrs' to get to Vegas because we hate the 15, and we like to take the back roads and stop at cool places, and find little towns. That is just what we do.

How much fun. We use to go over to the geode beds. I still have some that we found. That is close to Topaz mountain. My kids loved doing that.
