SO here we are rounding the corner into week 24. I know, only 24. About week 16, my dr. started telling me about what was ahead. Yeah yeah, I nodded and brushed it off, because as you know, I have don't this before a few times. He said I would slow down about week 24. He said my diabetes would kick in earlier. I would put on weight faster. You know all that stuff... just earlier. For about 3 days now I have been thirsty. No parched. No matter how much I drink, I can't seem to quench my thirst. That usually happens about 2 weeks before my numbers reach dietetic numbers. Not this time. I got 3 days. SO, back on the diet I go. Really, no big deal. I have done this before, I can do this again, and since I have put on 18 lbs with 14 weeks left to go. I really am okay with it. Pregnancies with singletons, the say 1 lb a week after week 20. Guess what it is for twins. Now I have a good reason to watch what I eat and eat better. AND with no major holidays I will feel like I want to eat sugar at, I should be fine. Easter is far enough away, I will be fine. Once I get all the sugar out of my system, I don't crave it anymore. So, the next 2 week, will be a detox. my other issue, I heard you art not supposed to lay on your back when you are pregnant. I have never had a problem, and only occationally wake up on my back. Sunday morning was one of those occasions. The problem was, I tried to get out of bed, and just about passed out. it took 10 minutes for the room to stop spinning.
Luckily, I have not had any complications. (knock on wood) The girl is a little quieter than the boy, but that's my only issue. Just a lot of the typical pregnancy issues, earlier.

I hope the next 14 weeks are kind to you. Hang in there! I admire you.
Wow you are over half way! You can do this, great attitude!
I have that same problem with thirst. I can't seem to ever quench it which is weird but waking up on my back is a constant. I still haven't figured out how to "not" but I'm curious about that sugar detox and diet. I think I should be on that too. I might just have to call you and find out the details. ;-)
