I was freaking out because i couldn't find a March 2011 picture file. Then i remembered. It's only the 2nd. So you get one from 2009.I had a dr. appt today. My last of my monthly appt. I have one in 3 weeks, then 2 , 2 weeks appts. Then weekly. I was told I will not make it to 40 weeks. If things are thinned, effacing and dilating at 38 weeks, AND I haven't had my babies by then, he will start me. Now we just pray for head down babies. My last 2 babies, I was at a 3-4 at 37 weeks, I have no doubt that will be the case. It's a little scary. Time goes by so fast. may 23rd is 38 weeks. the 15th of May would be okay too, because it's my GMA's birthday, and it's my sisters.
6 of 6 wants to sit on the potty. all. the. time. I don't have the energy. Although the thought of only 2 in diapers is extremely appealing. The thought of potty training an 18 month old. Not so much.
Can I talk about Trent for a minute. He is awesome. He bought me an under mounted microwave, and this quick installation turned out to be a major kitchen rewire. He is also, dare I say, excited about these babies. We have had 6 kids, and he loves them, but he has never been excited about it before. He's just not that kind of guy. I heard him tell the neighbor he was excited, and the whole thing was exciting. I have been to 10 work Christmas parties with him, 5 of those I have been pregnant. When they go around and have the employee introduce themselves then their spouse, then tell them something about us, never once has he mentioned expecting a baby. Until this last year. It's nice to hear.
I go in for another growth ultrasound next week. My dr said if there is any shortening of the cervix, I will be on modified bedrest. Whatever that means. Luckily I only have 2 kids at home. 4 of 6 won't get out of school until mid May, and my others are in until July. Except for the spring break, and one more track break, we are nearing the end. Hopefully bedrest won't be in the picture. I have never had a problem before.
Speaking of 4 of 6, at her IEP we found out her IQ is 75. Normal is 85-115. And in some areas she scored higher than 85. But her communication skills were really low, so she averaged out at 75. We are quite pleased with that. She will also be placed in a cluster classroom next year. She will be in with other 1-2 graders, with learning disabilities. Which is right where we wanted her. At least through elementary. If we can get her reading and writing, we'll talk about mainstream, when she plateaus. Maybe high school. But you can't really look that far ahead in life. Things change from day to day.
So, we are just hanging out. 3 of 5 is getting baptized on Saturday. My dad is going to help me fix the fence that was damaged in November, so the kids can go out side and play again. Now that it is getting warm, they are getting antsy. I just need to get the house cleaned, so we can let people in. It's been awhile since we had company. I haven't really felt up to it. Even the yearly game night hasn't happened this year. Maybe this month.
