Right Place Right Time

I decided to go to the Dollar store this morning to go check out the Haloween garbage, I knew they were going to have. I walk in get some of those lights, then stand in line. While in line, I over hear a mom and daughter about 50 and 20 yrs old, and the mom is talking about how big her babies are, bragging about her 8 lb daughter. So of course I pipe in, "well, this one here, was 9 14" they all gasp. The typical reaction. She then points to her daughter who looks about 5 months pregnant, and tells me her baby is due in 3 weeks, and he will probably be small because he has Down syndrome. What? Really, I have a 5 yr old with Ds, and I am the UDSF newborn contact. Them mom then gets teary and goes on about how she can't believe we were in the same place at the same time.....
I gave her my contact info, and I hope to be hearing from her after the baby is born on the 31st. He will have an ASD, so if you have had experience with that, would you let me know if I can pass on your info for her. She would like to talk to moms who have been there.
