I love the first day of school. My kids love the first day of school. They were very excited this morning.
The only disappointing part was finding out 3 of 6 wasn't in the same class as his BF. He would have been, but I switched teachers. So it was my fault.
I have 4 of them in school, 3 full day. Then it dawned on me.....5 of 6 doesn't go to school for 3 more years. Why does that seem so far away?

Already? I still have 1 1/2 weeks left but we're on traditional 12 week summer schedules. Most of the schools were going year round but with all of our edu. budget cuts, they've now changed that again this year and are now making them all 9 month. Summer really is long with that much time off.
