Tis The Season

4 of 5 woke up at 4 am last night crying. I went down, put her back to sleep went back to bed, only to wake up to her crying and 1 of 5 yelling, "stop crying" So I went back down and laid in the extra bed in there until she fell back asleep. It was not even close to as comfortable as my bed, so I went back upstairs and fell back asleep. within 15 minutes, she was crying again, by this time it was time for husband to get up and he went down to see what was happening. When he got into the shower she came up and climbed in bed with me and fell asleep. Only to be woken up by 3 of 5 yelling at 2 of 5 about wanting this cereal, and not that cereal. Luckily it was 8, so I wasn't as mad as I would have been, had it been 7, the usually time he starts up. She got up and took 2 bites of cereal and started cry pointing to her ear and saying ouch. I have to say, I was a bit relieved. As a mom, when your kid is crying in the middle of the night, I go through all the worst case scenarios. The ear infection is the lesser of the scenario. I was also pleased that is wasn't just allergies. That would be miserable. You pretty much suffer spring and fall. And last time I checked, Ash, Maple, and Willow were extremely high. SO I packed them up at 10 am, took her into see Dr. Allred, yup definitely an ear infection. Antibiotics should make it all better after 2 doses. Bad news is, I can feel it starting in my chest. Which is where hers started. Must be going around, my neighbor was there, my sister in law, and my neighbor said she saw one of her friends there too. Tis the Season for sick.

Hope everyone gets feeling better soon. We have gone the rounds as well, I had a sinus infection along with the other stuff and Sam had an ear infection and the croup. It's this dang weather that is cold and then warm and then cold and then warm, at least where we live it is. Get feeling better soon.
