Friday

These are all out of order, I haven't quite figures out how to rearrange....
Here is the wall in the living room, husband says he is going to take down tonight. These are the old verticals that came down (I am throwing them away unless anyone needs them for anything. ) They are floor to ceiling 6x8. I have 2 sets. They won't work here, because behind that wall is another set of windows.
These are going up, they are the drapes I just made out of the material someone left us.

These are the ones I just made for my kitchen. I have been sitting on the material for about 3 years. I thought they turned out pretty well for being new at this, and they are a pretty heavy material. Try finding something else that will cover 12 ft of window, and not cost over 200$.

Oh, this is the window we are covering.

Today for our off track activity we went to the Living Aquarium. It was pretty fun, maybe not 32$ worth of fun, but 4 of 5 is still talking about the fish. She even got to touch a sting ray. It's funny, because it was Canyon Willow Elementary school's field trip day. It's a school for kids with DS in the Jordan School District. There were 1 adult to 2 kids, except for the ones in wheel chairs, they were one on one. One of the reasons I'd want to live in the Jordan school district, I have heard they have an exceptional special needs program.
Our next activity is the Aviary on Monday. Let me know if you want to get in on our group pass. We will eat lunch at Liberty after. We are meeting at 11, because they have a bird show at 11:30.
It's nice to have so many things to keep the kids busy while they are home. They can all be relative low cost, some of the things are pretty pricey, like the Gateway Museum, (yes i know about the passes you can get from the Library but have you every tried to get one?) but you can keep busy.Hope to see you Monday!

Yes, I like the curtains. And the free left-behind fabric looks fab. I'd love some of your leftovers! Hey, do you have my lamps from Penney's? It looks like them!

That is the elementary school that Morgan will go to next year for 1st grade if we decide to do the cluster classroom. If not she will be at our neighborhood school with 1/2 day in mainstream and 1/2 in resource. Don't be too excited about the Jordan School District--that school will now be in the Canyons District and who knows what they are going to do with the special ed dept. and they seem to be spending millions on themselves (the administrators) and Jordan School District is worried they won't have funding and will have to make major budget cuts next year. It's mess over here! :) Cute curtains.

I thought that was you guys at the Aquarium on Friday. I was too busy chasing Abby around. She is so naughty when I go on fieldtrips with her class. Willow Canyon is a great school and the teacher, Kelsey Gamett, well, she is a miracle worker. I just love her and the class that Abby is in. It will be Canyons district soon, so not sure what will happen. I hope it will be good.
Your kids are very cute and very well behaved. Good luck on the remodel. And congrats on the pregnancy!
