today was a very busy day. So busy in fact, husband and I both spaced the youth food fun and training. (kind of wonder why no one called when we both didn't show up. And he had a training to do, and I'm over the YW. Guess we weren't missed that much) About 2 pm it dawned on me, that "somethings missing" feeling was not something missing, it was something missed. Sorry. When you only have Saturday's to accomplish big things, sometimes you just get wrapped up. I got started on a few big things, like putting away the rest of the yard stuff, keeping on top of kids chores, raking up leaves, and cleaning the chicken coop. I ran 6 miles this morning. Then 5 of 5 woke up. Well, 4 of 5 woke her up, which basically ruined her day. I spent the 2nd half of today following sir tears it up around with 5 of 5 in tow. She would not let me put her down. i take that back, I got about an hr at about 6 pm when I put her in her walker and her dad hung out with her. Now I'm off to prepared a lesson for tomorrow. It wasn't my turn, but I offered to give it because we got a new 2 nd councilor (really going to miss Lindsey) and she wasn't quiet ready to jump in with both feet. It's all good. I remember how scary it was.
