I couldn't for the life of me figure out why my house had gotten so messy. Then it dawned on me. I haven't been home in a week.7 am i get up and feed the baby
8 kids get up and eat and get ready for swim lessons
9 go to said lesson
10 get home, 5 of 5 eats and naps
10:30 i run then shower
11 get kids ready for park lunch
11:30 go to lunch
12:30, get home usually with an extra kid or 2
1 pm get 2 youngest fed (4 of 5 doesn't eat well at the park)Then down for a nap.
1-3 catch up on anything i can shove into the 2 hrs, plus the kids have been working on penmanship this summer, so we get that done.
4 dad gets home4:30 begin dinner
5 eat
then i clean up and we hang out with the kids
7"30 begin bed time routine
8 bed time.
I really thought this summer would be long and boring. Now i cant' remember where it went'
It really is true, the older you get, the faster it goes.I miss those long ago boring long days.
Oh, we found this Caterpillar on our door step on our way to the Beehive Deacon Youth Conference.
That was also a ton of fun. We have really great youth. I am really grateful to be able to work with them.
