It is hard for me to imagine that you have been here for 3 years. It really feels like you should be turning 1. The memory of your 1st month is still quite fresh in my mind. But it's no longer a harsh memory. It has now become one of my sweetest most cherished memories. Something that has brought me close to many, and helped me feel empathy towards others. And i truly thank you for that. Thank you for coming to this family, thank you for being my little 4 of 5. Thank you for showing me, "perfection" doesn't always come in a perfect box.
You were given your name before you got here, i knew you were coming, in a special little body before you got here. Actually, we didn't know 3 of 5 was a boy until he was born, so i thought he was going to be our girl, with something different. But, you waited a few more years.I love you, i hope we can help you live up to your full potential. You are capable of great things. And we will do our best to help, and give you all we are capable of.
