These first 3 pictures are the north side of my house.
My kids really like egg nog. They get excited every holiday season for it. Trent on the other hand, hates it. You know what he hates more than the actual nog? When I take a half empty gallon of milk, pour my quart of egg nog into it and put it back in the fridge. (we have 6 kids, a quart wouldn't last more than a serving, and it's too strong if you don't dilute it) I can't tell you how many times he's poured egg nog on his cereal.
last night was very restless. It started snowing at about 5, very light, not much accumulation. But 4 times I was woken up to a crash. It sounded like a car going through our house. If you know where my house is, this idea isn't too far fetched. I would get up and go look for the source and find half a tree on the ground. Our trees haven't lost all their leaves, so the snow made the branches way too heavy, and they would snap. (1st 3 pictures. They didn't load in the right order)
We woke up to 10 inches. I LOVE the first snow fall. (first for us, we were in CA for the actual 1st) My kids are all so excited. You have to suit them up so they can go play for a few minutes. What I don't love, all the snow that gets tracked in.

We do the same thing with our egg nog. This last time I accidentally used it on my kids oatmeal. No one seemed to notice. I may be diluting it a little too much.:) Hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Hey! I just heard your news, and I was shocked! Sounds like you were too. I'm so happy for you though. You will be an amazing mother of 8!!
Oh, and Brian is the same way with egg nog like Trent. He hates it! It must be a family thing... (:
That made me laugh...the comment about Trent pouring nog on his cereal. ;-) I can't believe you have so many broken trees. Wow! But on the upside, those pictures of the snow in your yard are beautiful. I love the look of snow on trees, falling from the sky, etc. I know it's difficult to drive in sometimes but I wish we got it. And if you're anything like me, once you're woken up, it's really hard to go back to sleep and get a restful sleep.
