HHHMMMM

Last day of birthday crazies. Today my 4 of 5 is 4. Yesterday 1 of 5 turned 9, and Sunday 2 of 5 turned 8. 2 of 5 loves to remind everyone on the 29th that he and his sister are twins that day. So, for 24 and a few hrs, I have 2 kids the same age.
This is 1 of 5 at 8 months This is 2 of 5 at 16 months
And 4 of 5 brand new. Before we had any idea she had DS, before she started turning purple, before the crazies hardest month of my whole entire life.

2 of 5 is getting baptized on Saturday.... seems like we just did this not too long ago. Like last year. I love these 3 kids, more than anything. They all have had tremendous impact on my life, and influence on me growing and being more than I thought I was capable of being. They have and will continue to have a specific purpose in my life, and the lives of others. And for that and for many other reasons, I love them, and I am truly grateful for being given the opportunity to raise them.
On a lighter note, I have been in a serious slump. It's funny, I wake up happy, and ready to start the day. I get up and walk with a few of my friends, then about 1 PM it's all down hill. I was thinking I was just a little depressed. But, I think I am just tired. really really tired. I thought kids off track when I had morning sickness was bad, that may have been a cake walk compared. BUT, it also may be a great thing. No getting kids off to school, no 4 PM madness, no homework. So I guess we'll see. If I could just get a nap in, I think I could curb the 1 pm blues.
And, after watching a kid puke 3 or 4 times at the park.... If you have a sick kids, a pukey sick kid, and you know swine flu is rampant, and you're not sure if there are immune compromised kids at the park, Please for the love of Pete keep your poor sick kid at home. I don't want to be watching your child throw up, and 5 of the 6 people that I sit with for lunch, are pregnant. All between 10 weeks and 38 weeks pregnant, THEY don't want to watch someone throw up. Or if you have to come and get your other kids fed, I totally know how that goes, don't sit in the middle of the lawn. "quarantine"
