Our first poppy. We have sprayed weed killer on most of them because last year our yard looked like this (see below) They were planted in flower beds..... they did not stay in flower beds.
Here are the 55 tomato plants 4 rows of corn 4 rows of beans 2 rows of beets, 1 carrot, and 2 rows of squash, 1 row of melon, 1 row of pumpkin. 1 row doesn't sound like a lot, but when your talking about 20 ft rows.....
On top of that, this is what our apple tree looks like. Can you see the little apples forming there? That is a what you call the cash crop. The whole tree looks like that. Luckily our pear tree is having an off year, and our apricot tree is getting ready to die. I guess luckily is the wrong word, the apricots would be ready in about 6 weeks. We replaced the cherry tree that died 2 years ago, put in 2 peach trees and another apple. SO we have a good 5 years before they give up more than just enough to eat.

Holy cow, 55 tomato plants!? I thought were going all out this year with 6 LOL.
Where did you find that many for a good deal? Or did you start them from seed?
We got them from Aposhian's and yes, they were a great deal. We spent 20$. They were the on'y place we could find the 6 pack. The rest of the places they were in cups, and 1$+ a cup at that. I guess when gardening becomes trendy, it also gets expensive. Have you priced peat moss latley?
Okay, where do you live?? I am going to be showing up here in a few months to take some of those tomatoes off your hands.... :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Cute family! Hope the pregnancy continues to go well!
