Our latest addition to the Cool Whip family.....It wasn't intentional. We went "looking". About 3 weeks ago, I mentioned we were going to need an 8 passenger car in about 7 months. No need to hurry, we had a little time. Plus, I was really bummed about getting rid of our Quest. I really liked that car, and the best thing about it, we only had 13 months left to pay on it. I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Our plan was to pay it off, and save the car payments for a year in order to put a nice down on a car, or buy an older car out right.
But, someone had other plans. I guess it worked out. I LOVE the car. It's bigger than I wanted. But, with 6 kids, you can't drive a small car. And the only other option was an Excursion. I couldn't even fit one of those in my garage. And I know what kind of mileage they get. We looked at the Pilot, and the Odyssey, but they couldn't fit the amount of car seats in them that we needed, nor did I want to spend that kind of money on a car. I guess as long as we can fit it in the garage, and it gets better than 20 MPG hw. With a family our size, we were lucky to find what we have I think. That many kids, you're just in that range. Anyway. that's what we're up to.

Oh, a Sienna right?? I love love love our Sienna! I didn't think I would love it so much, but it seats 8 also, and it has been such a great van! I won't even drive Brian's car anymore. You are going to love it!
What? Did I miss something? Are you expecting a baby in 7 months? That is so great! Congratulations if that is what the new car meant!
Yeah for Siennas! As you know, I am totally on the 8-passenger-Sienna bandwagon (or minivan-wagon)! We love ours too! Only thing I wish is that it had the whole seats-that-fold-down thing like the Dodges and the Chryslers. Congrats on the new purchase! (And on a side note, I am having more YW woes...want to move out here and take over for me?)

Okay I had no idea. That's awesome. I guess the cycle has really begun again and you get to be first this time. I am not announcing anything but you are definately ahead of me. Congrats and I hope you are doing well and feeling great.

So what is your due date? You are an amazing lady, 6 kids will be a handful. But as my mother puts it, once you have 3 you can handle 6.
Congratualations, I am starting to get baby hungry but have decided to wait until Sarah can at least walk, she is not even showing an interest in standing yet, so it may be a while. Sigh!!
ok so YEA on BOTH announcements!! #1 I am right on the bandwagon with the baby thing and #2 I am right behind you on getting an 8 passenger sienna...see we have been SAVING for what feels like forever and are hoping to pay out right for one NO payments YEA but it will be a few more months until that joy comes...of course it will HAVE to come before July for me!!
ok so I told Colby and now he wants to know what year it is? he wants to know if the year makes a difference in how many carseats can fit in it?
