January is a time to wait.
We wait for winter to be over
We wait for W2's
We wait for return money
We (impatiently) wait for #5's birthdayI wait for #7 to catch up to #8 and start crawling
And #8 to catch up to #7 and finally get a few teeth
We wait for cold/ flu season to be over
and for it to be time to plant peas!
I am going to let #5 have a birthday party. And # 3. I am doing February birthday parties this year. I think we will rotate. Next year it will be my June birthdays then the next year #6 and #4. Although I should do #4 this year. I am afraid if I wait too long, all of her church friends will be so far ahead of where she is, they won't really be friends. Even as it is now, there are only 2 of them that interact with her. I won't go in to that, it hurts my heart.
So we wait, until the next thing.

Well and we are all excited to see you guys next month. I know it isn't your desired vacation location and you might feel "obligated" but I'm glad you'll be here none the less. I feel the same way about kids birthdays. I did two for the oldest and #2 never had one so do we do one or keep on the path we've been going? I bet Eva would love to have a birthday party, even if it is just for two. :-) Maybe a "tea party" :-)
I'm very excited for the birthday party. I don't work next Saturday so I think I'll come up and help finish everything off. Maybe we can plan the cake or something. I'm just excited.
As far as tax returns go, we're looking at finally getting a new mattress! But right now we wait.
